You might want to hang onto your hat when you find out what one of the biggest exotic pets are on the market. It’s the Ball Python. Yes, it’s an animal like that. That might have taken you aback but you have to admit that you are pretty interested. So if you want to know about this animal than listen up because this is where things get interesting.

First, the ability to buy a ball python is very easy. These snakes are not endangered and they can be found at many exotic pet stores. They are amazing creatures and while at first you may have some initial hesitation you have to be willing to give them a chance.

Of course don’t think that you can get a python for cheap. While you can get them at many places you’d have to shell out a big check for over forty grand. That is no small amount of money. They are interesting and they do require a bit of care. One of the things that they require is a 30 gallon tank. While you might let your dog roam free, you cannot do the same with your python.

They do require a bit of food. You have to feed them dead rats or mice every ten days, but the good news is that these gorgeous creatures will live for around 40 years. If you like snakes and you would be willing to have one of them as your pet than this is clearly the snake for you.
